Sculpted entirely by hand, using only the therapeutic repetition of hammer and torch, the piece offers a grounding experience across its making, wearing and contemplation. This deceptively simple large statement piece embodies a paring down to an essential stillness in our hyper-busy world.
Form and surface texture created by thousands of rhythmically placed hammer marks. Forged in recycled NHS X-ray silver and flame worked to give it its radiant pearlescence reflecting light in subtle variations.
