Goldsmiths' Fair 2021: London - Goldsmiths' Hall, Week One

Overview

the largest fair of its kind  showcasing the work of over 120 international contemporary jewellers and silversmiths working in the uk today

the week before frieze london, goldsmiths' fair is held in the historic goldsmiths' hall near st. pauls cathedral.

the fair is held over 2 weeks, each week showcases a different group of makers.  

 

showing in week one, i will be present during the entire fair, tue 28 sep - sun 3 oct, showing several new pieces for the first time.  

 

this year the fair has introduced timed entry ticketing to manage visitor numbers and safety in the hall. standard weekdays have been divided into three time slots, morning (10.30-13.00), early afternoon (13.00-15.30) and late afternoon (15.30-18.00). tickets will be priced at £10 per slot (£8 first release).

 

 

the government is encouraging organisations that undertake events in large, crowded settings (such as the fair) where people are likely to be in close proximity to others outside their household, to use the nhs covid pass as a condition of entry, in order to reduce the risk of covid-19. the goldsmiths' company has decided to follow these guidelines to ensure the safety of exhibitors, visitors and staff over the two-week period. all visitors, including fair exhibitors, to the hall will be asked to show an nhs covid pass or proof of a recent negative test, to access the fair.
