"works from renowned artist jeweller ute decker are going on display at mayfair’s elisabetta cipriani gallery this may. the exhibition explores the movement of waves, with pieces characterised by ‘sensuous undulations’ – from the calming waves of her neck piece ocean to powerful forces of nature erupting in her arm sculpture wild waters. ‘when I discovered ute’s work in 2013, i was fascinated by how her infinite sensuous curves were moving in space,’ says elisabetta. ‘the body acts as a canvas for her sculptural fluid shapes. with its movement, these shapes theatrically transform into something else. ute’s work is constantly surprising.’"
